      Ringer Ringer

A little about myself         Played some guitar when I was younger. Now Im old and grey. Playing the Harp was a New Years Resolution for 2008. Turning out to be much harder than I thought. Grateful for all Ive learned from various internet resources especially this one and Adam Gussow.

      Reviews:

      Baby Blues
''Good job, but got a little busy in there at times which might have made you lose the timing -- just in a couple of places. But don't stop reaching for the harder stuff, of course.''
         --Eric Martin

      Baby Blues
''Like the tone you are getting - some really nice ideas in there''
         --htrain

      Baby Blues
''Did some very nice slow blues playing. I love playing stuff like this. It is very cathartic.''
         --BlueInGreen

      Baby Blues
''Some nice sound in there Ringer, reminds me a little bit of Pigpen from Grateful Dead. Got off the B-t there a bit I thought though.''
         --Brown Ale Guy

      Patient Blues
''Just had to listen and grin at this again Ringer. Good fun!''
         --Brown Ale Guy

      Patient Blues
''Ha ha ha! Great words. Man, you would break people up in a bar over this. Like the harpin' too! Great!''
         --Rick

      Patient Blues
''Your vocals are your strong point and you have good voice, your Harp playing is dragging just bit you need to work on how you hit the notes; I can not see Mr. Rogers as drug dealer, he was really opposed to them!''
         --Bro.Bob

      Slightly Different
''I like the 'lazy feel to this one and you are definitely hitting the up front notes. Good one!''
         --htrain

      Shuffle Upagus
''Timing is coming on and working well. Stronger attacks could help with establishing the beat.''
         --htrain

      Patient Blues
''Nice song, harp is a bit hesitant though''
         --Ed

''I can hear the beer in this! But it came out ok - like a slow, sloppy shuffle, but relaxed and pleasant enough.''
         --Eric Martin

      Patient Blues
''Great little number Ringer all round.....making a complete package there. liked it....''
         --Peter Holliman

      Patient Blues
''imaginative...good idea with the harp but needs work...''

''Soundin' good with what you are doin'. Tricky track with the "different" chord changes. Keep lookin' for more melodic opportunities to grab.''
         --Brown Ale Guy

      Patient Blues
''Ok, now thats just weird to think of Mr Rodgers that way. LOL. Great vocals and harp though.''
         --Mc7

      Patient Blues
''Nice vocals. Harp was simple, but effective for a tune like this..''
         --Mark wilson

      Shuffle Upagus
''nice sound, your attack seemed loose, thats good, sometimes we need to bite them notes and make them squeel...''
         --mcee

      Patient Blues
''This is whacko, but fun. Liked the singing and the playing fit well with it.''
         --Eric Martin

      Patient Blues
      ''Hahahahahaha. Good one Ringer.''
         --dblues

      Shuffle Upagus
''You seem to be quite comfortable in the middle of the harp, would love to hear you wander into lower and higher areas. It might contrast nicely with your mid-range stuff, which seems to be solid. Take some melodic chances, I'm betting you'll do just fine.''
         --Matt Gunn

      Patient Blues
''Should I be worried that I seem to get what you are doing there Ringer? Got some good stuff coming through. Keep em coming''
         --Brown Ale Guy

''One of your best. Put it all together. Sounds real natural with the B_T. Hope she stands by you when you get out''

''Liked the vocals and harp was good for most parts. As has been mentioned the rhythm was off a bit in spots. Enjoyed this one!''
         --Downhome Dave

''you have a good voice...harp time needs work with a few less staccato notes replaced with some longer notes. may help you get back in time''
         --Steph Wilson

      Woodys Wagon
''I cannot fully enjoy this because the harmonica is too loud. I can't hear the backing track you are jamming too. Other than that, sounds pretty good!''
         --Rick

      Katy Go Home
''Love the vocals. Harp playing is nice too, but didn't always match the rhythm of the guitar''
         --Ed

      Katy Go Home
''Glad you put vocals in this BT,it adds to the whole package which you did.I tried this BT also with some naughty vocals.''

      Katy Go Home
''I can see this bt makes you guys go all sad and lonely! You conveyed that here, and the harp playing was good with the singing. B.I.G.'s comment about the vocals/mic should be helpful.''
         --Eric Martin

      Katy Go Home
''Interesting vocals and harp playing. :)''

''Nice one Ringer, Like the vocals and the staccato fills around them.Good solo too.Try singing less directly into mic to avoid popping.''

         --htrain

      Woodys Wagon
''Pretty good.Would be better with harp lower in mix.Sounds like you are attacking notes with too much air blast.Could get more swing feel by relaxing and playing behind beat''
         --BlueInGreen

      Woodys Wagon
''You got some good stuff in there. Can tell you are getting more confident. Keep exploring.''
         --Brown Ale Guy
