        Mc7 Mc7

A little about myself         Im 42 years old now. Ive lived, Ive loved, Ive lost but Ive made more friends than enemys. Life is more of a blast now than ever before. I know my direction. I know what I like. I know what I want. Growing older hurts more each day but like the old saying goes, no pain/no gain.

The battle scars of life should never be hidden. It means youve been there and experienced the bad with the good. So wear them like badges of honor.

Im kinda of a jack of all trades. I currently paint tractor/ trailers for a living but Im also a certified electrical technician for forklifts as well as a diesel mechanic. Been working on cars all my life. Not really by choice. I had to get my two sisters to school everyday as well as get myself to work. So in order to do that, I had to not only figure out what was wrong with my peice of junk car but fix it too!

Im a welder/cutter, sometimes carpenter and even made a few knives by hand which I plan to pass down to my nephew. I dabbled in the world of gunsmithing as well. I used to love to shoot Fort Bening tactical/pistol matches.

Music has always been a big part of my life and now more than ever. I finaly kicked the habit of smoking after 20 some odd years of it and I decided to learn to play the harmonica now that I dont cough my head off all the time. Im also trying to teach myself the guitar as well. I love the Blues for playing guitar and harp but my musical tastes are vast. I love Country. Rock. Southern Rock. R&B. Rap. Heck im cool with just about any kind of music except classical. :)

''Good chug, good sound for SS, loose structure but developed a life of its own somehow. Good experiment and something to build on.''

''I loved it! That Solo stayed "crunchy" even in Milk. I want to get my sound like that through this Audacity software and I see you have more than a mic plugged into the computer. But I digress...great job!''

''the tone was pretty good but i think maybe more movement around the harp needed?''

''You built the base, with a good solid sound. Next, to expand on that''

''Way to get after it Mike. I liked Brett's comment around structuring something around the I IV V. For me it just needed the tension and release type thing that you get when stepping through the chord progression. Good stuff.''

''Good work on chugging and trying to drop in some fills Michael. Keep practicing...and you'll be able to put more complex fills in.''

''This actually gave me an idea. Do a chord/rhythm track and then improvise over top of it. Like those fast slurs at 0:52 and elsewhere.''

''Nice chuggin and rhythm exercise, a lot of energy. Some more rhythmic varitions would have added tension.''

''way to go MIke - good solid rhythm established - liked the pause around 1:00 - keep working those melody single note 'break outs" to get out of chug pattern - you sure held it for a log time - good one bro!!''

''Good rhythm and some inventive licks in there Michael. To my ears you mostly stayed on the I chord, so maybe next time you could try building a solo around the entire I-IV-V progression for a shuffle.''
