Lips Angelo Lips Angelo Hi all you fellow harp players out there! Im 46 and live in a lovely rural area about an hour n/e of Toronto. I got motivated to learn blues harp after being in New Orleans in 2001. Been playing around 7 years now. Love this site and the diversity of talent and hearing how everyone has a different take on a song. Have had the opportunity to play and learn from some of the best players around.

A little about myself         Ive played drums for years but sort of got bored and started learning to play harp. Play some piano, bass and guitar. I write a lot of music and sing on this site, as well as at jams. Love the blues and am proudly Canadian.

''Some good stuff in here, but this track also points out some glaring weaknesses in your playing. Your control of the 3d bend, and timing especially. That being said, there's a lot of very good stuff in here that you weren't capable of just a year ago.''

''That's sweet playing on that F. Must have been the practice you got at the last jam. The high stuff really flows when it's played right. Nice listen.''
         --Ringer

      MoeBluz
''Interesting use of the echo. You get a nice sound out the high piched F harp.''

''They should rename the track the Lips Angelo Boogie. Nice job!!!''

''First it was an F, then a Bb, now an Eb. Do you know what the heck you were playing? Perhaps it wasn't even a harmonica. Get offa da weed man and pay attention Hahahahahahahahaha LOL Oh ya, nice track.''
         --djazznbluzz

      ''as i said before,masterclass in 12th,chris michaleck's fav. pos. on harp!great!lol''

''@ Lips: Not to be a bore, but the bt is in the key of Bb. Playing in second position in the key of Bb would be on an Eb harp. Playing on an F harp to Bb is 12th position. Or maybe it's different where I come from. ''
         --Magic Martian

      MoeBluz
''Sound real good Mike. Lots of melodic ideas and some cool sounding octave playing. Maybe you are really in first position. You are if he bt is in Bb.''
         --BlueInGreen

      MoeBluz
      ''Bb second position sir.''
         --Lips Angelo

      MoeBluz
''Lips, if you played this on an F harp, then you were in 12th position (or just plain off key :)) but it sounds right to me, so more power to you.''
