Lips Angelo Lips Angelo Hi all you fellow harp players out there! Im 46 and live in a lovely rural area about an hour n/e of Toronto. I got motivated to learn blues harp after being in New Orleans in 2001. Been playing around 7 years now. Love this site and the diversity of talent and hearing how everyone has a different take on a song. Have had the opportunity to play and learn from some of the best players around.

A little about myself         Ive played drums for years but sort of got bored and started learning to play harp. Play some piano, bass and guitar. I write a lot of music and sing on this site, as well as at jams. Love the blues and am proudly Canadian.

''I went back and listened again. I thijnk that the first 1/2 is too soft in the harp. Can't hardly hear it in that it is overpowered by the bt and vopice. Howeer, it comes up some in the last halp but still could use a boost. I want to hear your harp''
       --Blueshiner

    Some Of The Good Stuff
''?? Don't know guys...the mix sounded totally fine to me. Is the whole mix too quiet or just the supporting harp lines? Is the lead loud enough??''

       --Appleman Ed

    Some Of The Good Stuff
''I like to mix it back with the other instruments, except for leads and fills that I want more prominent in the mix, I mostly mix like this when I do vocals MM''

    Some Of The Good Stuff
''I feel your pain: my baby don't do discount either, unfortunately. This is pure Lips Angelo. Loved it. Your harp playing in recent stuff sits low in the mix, real quiet. I assume that is on purpose. Not a problem, just noticed.''

''Some good old straight ahead boogie with the lips stamp on it. Great tone and good mix. Maybe to much delay makes you distant from the band.''
