A little about myself         I Came from a musical family and was exposed to the harp early as my dad and his friends played. Started taking it seriously around 15 yrs. of age. Mom sang jazz and named me after the song Saint James Infirmiry.

''Giving you 5 points because you got a great gutsy voice just right for blues. Harp would've been called genius if done by Capt. Beefheart, but you and me don't get that kind of license. Diatonic next time. : )''
       --BeelzeBob

    Tried to Please Her
''Nice try on the Chromatic,it did not work with this BT!''
       --Bro.Bob

    Tried to Please Her
''This is a hard Bt to play to,and doing it on a chrom. is even more difficult.I.m sorry it just didn.t fit for me.''
       --Daniel Blues

    Tried to Please Her
''Your harp didn't blend well into the track. I think a bit of reverb and adjusting the volume would improve your mix. Some very nice and unique stuff of the chrom though.''
       --Mark wilson

    Tried to Please Her
''Nice effort JB. That is not the most accessible of B_Ts, but you took Rick up on this challenge and with the Chrom. Way to take a run at it.''
       --Brown Ale Guy

    Corn On The Cob
''Cool one JB. Really enjoyed the first position playing!''
       --BlueInGreen

    Tried to Please Her
''This is kind of on the outside edge for me. I can't get with the BT anyway. I think you did a ok job of staying with it.''
       --Eric Martin

    Tried to Please Her
''Now that was different, interesting. Hmm.... I'm gettin' it. Without a couple misplaced notes it works.''

''Good experimentation JB, but it didn't tickle my fancy this time man...just my cheesy opinion.''
       --Lips Angelo

''You know, there is some insanity in your playing that almost makes this work. Sounds like an insane accordian player wheezing out heavy metal. Ha ha ha. Hope you don't mind. I enjoyed it! Almost worked!''

''great vibrato as Steph said! I think you pleased her:)''

    Tried to Please Her
''like how you tied the vocals in with the guitar riffs..like your vibrato with a chrom. thought the harp was a bit to out front but thats not a knock...just personal taste...good take JB''

       --Eric Martin

    Corn On The Cob
''Best thing I've heard from you yet. Almost got lost at the 2:00 mark but you reeled it back in nicely. Same at 3:00, maybe running out of wind?''

    Corn On The Cob
''good melody throughout like the high stuff''

       --Rick

    Dirty Fingers
''No problem.I always only post one version (LO). Don't see much use in doing HI and LO.''
       --BlueInGreen

    Dirty Fingers
''Due to technical difficulties there is no high res or MP3 versions of my rendition of 'Dirty Fingers'. I guess thats why they call it the blues.''
       --JB Reed

    Dirty Fingers
''Nice one JB. Really working that 1st position lower octave.Seems bends are a little off as Aqua noted. Is you HI version just the BT w/no harp???''

    Corn On The Cob
''Enjoyed this one. Lots of variety and fun on the high notes.''
       --tonedeft

    Dirty Fingers
''Good tone, nice job overall. Only heard harp on the lowbit, the other two I got nothing but BT.''
       --BeelzeBob

    Dirty Fingers
''Rock on JB! One thing. When you play there are no silences. It's like each note has a start but no end. I'm thinking clipping those notes off might give you a bit more bounce. But I like your inventive melodic work! Cool Stuff!''
       --Rick

    Dirty Fingers
''Sorry I couldn't figure this one out but I think you harp sounded like a keyboard. Very nice.''
       --harpletunnel

    Dirty Fingers

       --BeelzeBob

    HotSauce
''Good job following the chords. I'm not too fond of phaser effect for harp.''

    HotSauce
''Well done for 3rd position playing, some notes where not right most where over all!''
       --Bro.Bob

''Fit the harp in well man!!!''
       --Lips Angelo

    Jazzy Blues
''Even with all that stuff goin' on you can hear some good harp through there. Remember not to get totally lost in the toys though. I start to, then gotta get back to the woodshed.''
       --Brown Ale Guy

    HotSauce
''Liked your approach to this. You fit in well! Good job!''
       --Downhome Dave

''Needs a couple of listens to get into the unusual harmonies. All good fun so the first priority is well sorted!''
       --tonedeft

    Jazzy Blues
''Great fun! Enjoyed the fast runs. For my ears the wah effect works well musically but it does boost some top frequencies into the pain zone. (That could be mellowed in Audacity after recording.)''
       --tonedeft

    Jazzy Blues
''JB-just go into your Admin Page and delete the post. Then you can put up the new one.''
